Washington Wind Symphony

Washington Wind Symphony

a Puget Sound based wind ensemble

April 21, 2007 - 8:00 p.m.
Romance All Around

For over twenty years, the Washington Wind Symphony has presented the finest wind band music to audiences around the Puget Sound area. Our next concert features works loosely clinging to romantic ideal and theme, hence the appropriate subtitle, “Romance All Around.” The performance includes a decidedly Russian march—A Slavic Farewell by Vasilij Ivanovitj Agapkin. Subsequent aural delights include music composed by Ron Nelson, David R. Gillingham, and Percy Aldridge Grainger. Of note, Washington Wind Symphony will cap off the first half of the evening with the magnificent William Byrd Suite by Gordan Jacob.
